Swedish fire torch logs are used quite a bit out in the woods for easy and fast cooking. Lets see how well a smaller version does with a pack stove set-up at getting water to boil.
If you are working on improving your bushcraft skills this may be a simple project to tryout one afternoon in the backyard. It’s nothing more that cutting a small piece of whatever wood you usually would find out in camp. Giving the wood a cross cut, and setting the chunk ablaze.
